Christmas 2009 will always be remembered as a day American heroism shone brightly, as passengers and crew members aboard Northwest Airlines Flight 253 foiled an attempted terrorist attack by the thankfully incompetent Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. President Obama and his team have a serious matter on their hands. Not only has Al Qaeda taken credit for the Christmas 2009 attempted attack, but the New York Daily News revealed that according to ABC News, Abdulmutallab “…told FBI agents that other operatives are being trained in Yemen and would soon attack.” In addition, FoxNews reported that Yemen’s foreign minister, Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, disclosed that Al Qaeda operatives and leaders in Yemen “…may actually plan attacks like the one we have just had in Detroit. There are maybe hundreds of them — 200, 300.” Let’s hope that Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano’s embarrassing statement to CNN’s Candy Crowley that the lack of success of the Christmas 2009 attempted attack proves that “the system worked,” is no indication of how the Obama camp will be handling the gravity of this matter. Of course Janet quickly changed her story within twenty-four hours, likely realizing the idiocy of what she had uttered and citing that her words had been taken out of context. According to numerous reports, Abdulmutallab’s father released a statement claiming to have warned Nigerian security forces and U.S. Embassy officials over a month ago of his son’s radical religious leanings. Abdulmutallab was added to the United States government’s database of those with suspected links to terrorism, but not placed on the no-fly list. Slight oversight? I’d say so. Let’s see if Obama’s team is as eager to treat Abdulmutallab as a common American criminal as they are with respect to the 9/11 masterminds. Shall we grant Abdulmutallab a cozy New York City trial as well.
And now for the ultimate kicker: ABC News reported that “Two of the four leaders allegedly behind the al Qaeda plot to blow up a Northwest Airlines passenger jet over Detroit were released by the U.S. from the Guantanamo prison in November 2007, according to American officials and Department of Defense documents.” Wake up, Mr. President. WAKE. UP.
Obama’s address to the nation that came three days too late was bland, monotone, and devoid of the empowering energy that should characterize a speech by any American President whose citizens just escaped—by virtue of their heroism and the terrorist’s ineptitude—a deadly attack. I found it lifeless and unconvincing, his inability to instinctively call forth a fierce and necessary patriotism perhaps my greatest concern.
We are at war, President Obama. Our nation and its every guiding principle are under attack. If you love your country, I can’t think of a better time to start showing it.

I am 86 yeaars old and have lived through lots of presidents, good, bad and then there’s Obama. He won’t or can’t provide a legitimate birth certificate,. He does not let anything or anyone get in his way, with the help of his “goon squad” He and the liberals will not respect the “people” who show up at tea parties and say. they are all right wing conservatives and rabble rousers. He also states in his autobiography that if a choice has to be made he will stand with Islam! could anything be clearer than that? Most of the country,that is American citizens do NOT want the trial,ofthe Guantanamo prisoners held in NY. so why do they persist against the wishes of the people of our United States? Only one answer, they (those on the far left want a socialist government and are doing everything and anything to destroy our great nation. Our constitution means nothing to them. They have been trampling all over it. I fear for our country, our children and our very lives. (just learning the computer so please forgive the errors)

How this Obumma Moslim squeezed into the American Presidency is far beyond me. Are there really that many crazy people in the Democratic Party? Why is the far leftists gang fighting so hard to ram a Socialist Government down our unwilling throats? I put these jackles in the same category as the Nazi Skinheads, KKK, and all the other crazies who are tearing down our American Democracy. I agree with the first poster, regarding the presidents citizenship. At first I thought it to be just another rant. Now, with all the money he has spent to keep the real birth certificate hidden, I m convinced it is not just another rant. He and his cabinet are out to destroy the America we all cherish and love. Mainstream press has been bougt off also, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and for the most, many news papers. Then we have the 500 billion cuts in Medicare. For people living in near poverty now. All approved by Democrats in lock step. What type of peson would write a bill, and vote for a bill like this. It is not only Medicare, but also Home care for the handi capped, screening for cancer, all ages, hip re[lacements, knee replacements, open heart sugery, a buldging Aorta, a heart valve, by pass surgery, cancer treatments all based on productivity in our society. Sounds like Nazi’s to me. Yes, we need to fight back.

The thing that amazes me is that with all the government bureaucracies we now have to supposedly “protect us”, and with the literally thousands of dollars being spent on these bureaucracies, why is it it took the passengers on the plane to subdue this guy? Seems to me we need a few less “bosses” in Washington, and few more “workers” on the ground. We sure aren’t getting our monies worth with THIS plan!! Obama wants to “remake” America, then why doesn’t he start with security?
From what I’m hearing is that again they are trying to blame Bush for this. The four were released under his watch. That may very well be so, but if you will remember, the entire time the detainees were in Gitmo, the left was screaming bloody murder about it. The tried every thing in the book to stop him. If nothing else, Bush released some of the “minor” players to appease the left. Do you see now why you never, never, never “reach across the isle” and work with the left? It will burn you every time. We cannot afford to waste any more time just complaining about this Socialist President, his czars and a Congress that refuses to listen to us.
As much as I hate to say it, we must get involved legally and file lawsuits to stop or at least hinder this healthcare debacle first. We can follow with lawsuits against Congress and the Obamination we call President. THere must be some type of legal argument in the million and one laws on the books against frauds who promise one thing and do another.

I have sensed from the beginning of the uncany rise of the popullarity and un presidented rise to power of OBAMA, that somrthing was amis. with all that happened during the campaign and with the election fraud, especially with A.C.O.R.N., I am now totally convinced that there is a conspiracy to destroy America as a constitutional republic. Those who believe the Islamic lie and hold to the myth that Islam is a religion of peace will capitulate rather than fight this evil. Islam will convert, kill, or enslave every last person in the world given the chance. If I were to run for high office I would be willing to show my birth certificate to the voting public. I would also present my college transcripts. I would really like to see Obama’s college transcripts. What else is he trying to hide. He ran on a platform of transparency – MAJOR LIE. His administration is the most covert in American History!
I went to obtain a passport the other day, and the Post Office clerk had the audacity to ask me for a certified birth certificate. You know those, pre-OBama that is issued from the state and has the raised seal. No matter what I said, for example, if it’s good enough for the president, it’s good enough for you guys, they would not take a computer printout. As far as OBama’s and Janet, the joke, Napolitano’s statements, it’s clear that one, OBama most emotional speeches are saved for when he is in another country bashing America, and two, where did he find Ms. Napolitano, anyway? At least George Bush’s administration kept the terrorist at bay since 9/11. OBama and his crazy czar have only seemed to empower them.
Considering that Obama’s education was paid for by Al Mansour and also his special feelings for the Qur’an as noted in his speech in Egypt one has to wonder wher his loyalties truly lie. I suspect a greta deal more more than his birthplace. I suspect he is a “secret muslim”. President John Quincy Adams had much to say about Islam, then called Mohammedism. Read it for yourself.
I do not like the direction that our country is headed and at times feel so helpless. Everyday I see more of our freedoms being taken away-I just finished reading Sarah Palins book, Going Rogue, and it was an eye opener about our so called elected officials,(both Dems and Reps). We need to have our voices heard-we need to stand and fight for our constitution-we need to encourage honest Americans to stand up for what made this country as great as it once was-we need to get back to the basics-I dont want this kind of change. Joining the bandwagon of screaming left wingers is the AARP which claims to represent seniors but has been pushing for the passage of obscure and dangerous “Obamacare”. They have been persistent left wingers and in fact represent only a small portion of their membership. I encourage all concerned members of AARP not to renew membership. Your insurance coverage with AARP can be continued without having to be a member.

I agree with the need to totally revamp the entire corrupt group of congressional representatives that now occupy that revered institution. They have totally lost sight of those they represent and need to be reminded that they work for us and are obligated to represent us. As one who has worked in the federal government for 45 years, I have never felt more frustrated and less represented than I currently do. I encourage more rabble rousing, military veterans and disaffected citizens to take the 2010 elections seriously and overturn the good ole boys club in DC and replace it with true representation of the people.

I do not understand how people that claim being born in USA being real americans and not stand up 1000% in favor of our values e traditions that for over 2 centuries have help the all world ,stand up for our constitution that had been the model for the civilized world. It just keeps getting scarier all the time! So many of our President’s Cabinet Members and top advisor’s have been tax evaders. He, himself has been associated with people with terrorist links. He chooses to close Gitmo, and bring these terrorists into our country. He supports his attorney General’s decision to try five of the most dangerous Gitmo terrorists, in New York City. Doesn’t he realize how dangerous this is, and degrading to the families of the almost 3000 people these murderers killed? Doesn’t he realize how important it is to have the Secretary of the Depatment of Homeland Security be a person who has a background in security measures of that nature, instead what he has in there now? This a big job, with the security of our country in her hands and she can’t handle it! Why does he wait over three months to respond to
General McCrystal’s request for 40,000 more troops in Afganistan, and then only give him three-quarters of them? Doesn’t he trust his top Generals? Obviously not!! Write letters to the editor, write consistently to your congressmen, call your senators and representatives, attend tea parties if they are near you. Don’t be afraid of how they label us….our children’s children will call us freedom fighters!

I lost count out the court cases that have been dismissed again and again and again… then the senate, congress, house of representatives… ALL MUST BE DEEPLY REVIEWED and then decided on.. KEEPER OR REMOVE. I also have a very very huge concern about our media… I feel that their reporting and absence of reporting or spinning has clearly been complicite in this rape of our nation. I must also mention the businesses like AARP that have continued to support this travesty of a government with their hands out… alll those who have received their payoff must be brought to justice… we must stop the lobbying and the multiple issue bills. Yes we must immediately remove this vile government from out sight but this situation is much deeper than just Pelosi, Ried and BO… WE MUST CLEAN HOUSE (all of them) courthouse, house of representives and Whitehouse.. and the front yard (the networks) and the back yard the businessed (the Fed reserve). yet this even goes deeper.. Who are the people who have been complicite… what organizations… where do we stop.. how far do we go to remove this outrage… For many many years we have faced the same organizations on both sides Dem & Rep… I guess the best thing is to just get started… We truely don’t have the luxury of time.. Our national debt is about to tick to 13 Trillion dollars.. One year ago it was at about 3. How much longer do you want to wait. How much more of this will you TOLERATE.
All the above posts bring up very valid points, but the one thing that hasn’t been said with true conviction yet: PRAY TO GOD AND LOAD THE GUNS! I have never supported AARP in any way, fashion, or form. I started getting their propaganda materials long before I turned 50 – tossed it in the trash then and shred it now. I had been told of their alleged anti-gun lobby efforts and no home grown mountain boy from Wyoming is going to support something as ghastly as that! Yes, we should be praying for our country, but hoping for Divine intervention alone is not enough. My mother used to tell me

I am a Veteran and the last thing I would wish to see, is this country divided by another civil war, but if that is what it takes, then so be it. If another civil war were to break out, I fear what our enemies would do during such a disruptive event. Add to that, I wonder what would happen at the global level if the United States were to suddenly be withdrawn from the world’s economy?

AARP supported it because they were promised a vast administrative role ($) in the new health care system. Follow the money. The administration cannot bring itself to say we are at war. They cannot say the word terror. How can you solve a problem until you can identify it. This is not a “war on terror”, Terror is a method or a tactic. We are at war with Islam and it’s insistence on jihad. Over 90% of muslims find no problem in the assertion that Islam must be the only religion for the world. Plurality is YOUR idea not theirs. The golden age of Islam and the peaceful coexistence of religions is a MYTH, not supported by historical evidence. Islam is evil, false, and murderous. A moderate muslim is a muslim who has yet to be called to jihad by a wild eyed Imam.

An extra benefit of a conservative rout in the House is that NAZI Pelosi will no longer be the Speaker of the House, losing her giant airplane in the bargain.
All Americans who have responded, are indeed correct. I spent 26 years fighting the very style of government we are about to evolve. If all true American voters would have read “Obamanation” prior to election, I really feel they may of had second thoughts. Apparently, the only way to slow this thing down is through the 2010 election process, which hopefully, will not be too late. I don’t believe that a third party theme is the way to go. A third party movement would divide the conservative vote, not the liberal vote. With Perot running, Clinton won with only 43% of the popular vote. I’ve often wondered if Bill paid Perot to run. If I had been treated the way prisoners at Guantanamo were treated, my hatred for the US would likely cause me to attack also. It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.
True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.
Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.
First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas than the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their “right” to choke down a McDonalds burger or a Burger King burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our “democracy”. Pride blind the foolish.
Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different “branches and denominations” were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the “winning” side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the “winning” side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America .
The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America ‘s short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Weimar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.
These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, losses, and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?
These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties, and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more than a whimper to their masters.
Then came Barack Obama’s command that GM’s (General Motors) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of “pure” free markets, the American president now has the power, the self-given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.
So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a “bold” move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK ‘s Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our “wise” Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.
Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper…but a “free man” whimper.
So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set “fair” maximum salaries, evaluate performance, and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Frank, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.
The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this, and the option of closing their facilities down, and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.
The proud American will go down into his slavery without a fight, beating his chest, and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

I agree with all your conservatives and Christian Citizens..As a college professor and on a mecidal team with People to People I’ve studied health care in 5 hemispheres, ours is the best and all rely on it for research and REAL problem solving. CALL Legislators and insist the Feds are breaking the constitution and the states should step up and say this is our business and not yours. Then estab. district billing which checks all payments for fraud and unnecessary procedures.
We will never restore jobs until individuals (through Health savings) are able to get their own insurance.
Industry cannot compete here or globaly with burden of health care and BIG unions. If employees feel a need, they should form their own org. within their buildings & etc. Save their money and their company. We can stop foreign inports by just insisting that any item shipped into this country must meet the same standards as used within the states. This protects our food and forces other governments to pay attention to their infrastructers (for sanitation) and workers physical and mental strain. DO NOT COMPLAIN UNLESS YOU HAVE A SOLUTION AND VOTE..
I have to admit I was a life long democrat(moderate, I sided w/ republicans many times)until this bunch came down the pike. I have nothing in common w/ this bunch. They do not represent anything I believe in for this country. When obama was running and I saw what a free ride the press was giving him, I knew we were in trouble. All those fence riders that voted for him and are crying like babies now should hang their heads in shame and only hope we cane get enough votes in nov. to reverse the damage done to this country.

I am a Master Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy with 26 1/2 years of service, and am proud to be a member of AMAC. Luckily, I get enough conservative mail that I found out about this alternative to the turncoat AARP. They are so liberal, self-aggrandizing, and willing to sacrifice liberty for entitlements that make them comfortable, I’m surprised that more people over the half-decade mark haven’t risen up in arms. Perhaps it’s because we don’t feel that we’ll get “what’s coming to us” after years of paying the New Deal bill. I’m willing to sacrifice a little bit (a whole lot, actually) to preserve the Founding Fathers’ vision of this country as that “city on the hill.”
I will be on a Carribean cruise (I know, sounds rough, but we’ll be working–kind of) with other Christian conservatives next week–Alan Keyes, Gary De Mar, and other “dangerous” radicals–to discuss the future of American conservatism and how we might salvage the country for our progeny.

Before I turned 50 aarp began sending me their propaganda mailings and I was furious. I have never acknowledged them and would not think of enrolling in their organization. Something told me they were not to be trusted. Jimmy Carter & Bill Clinton gave me the same willies (no pun intended) and I could never vote for either of them. Then comes Hussein Obama and nothing in this world could induce me to his corner. I instinctively knew what he represented and pleaded with everyone not to vote for him. Hillary Clinton is another one not to trust. And, of course Pelosi, Reid, Franks, & the rest of the libs. I went into a depression when he was elected and dropped “friends” that voted for him. There are still people who voted for BO that think he is good and not leading us to socialism. I just think, how stupid can you get! I’m sorry for those of us who realize the depth of trouble we are in. However, the idiots deserve what he is bringing to us. And, we must fight with all that we have. Our best weapon whether protestant or Catholic is the holy rosary. St. Padre Pio often said that it is the weapon against the devil. Many of the saints have echoed the sentiment. Both parties have let us down, not just the democrats. I personally am an Independant, I vote for the person that I think will serve our country (us) best. Again, it involves time and effort,
but a lot less time and effort than we are going to have to spend now, trying to straighten our the mess the past administrations have gotten
us into. No single party is alone to blame. I too am a USA Veteran and a
former govt employee. I left short of my retirement because I did not agree with what was going on and I had no say about it. It is important to mention at this time that I love my country and each of you also. I want the best for all of us, and our future generations. Hopefully we can regain our Constitution and our country peacefully, if not, PRAISE THE LORD AND PASS THE AMMUNITION!

PS: I do take exception to the remark about the older generation not making reasonable and logical decisions on their own. I believe if you check the stats, you will find most of the votes in this past election were by the Younger generation and certain minorities.
Ask a WWII vet if he fought for this kind of government we have now. My father would be terrified of this present this is the kind of thing he fought against. WHO IS PROTECTING US FROM OUR GOVERNMENT? We need to respond to their “terroism” on the American people. I completly got off the fence last year when the ATF and FBI invaded our home in Feburary.
