Dan Weber, president of AMAC, the Association of Mature American Citizens, which bills itself as “the conservative alternative to AARP”, has sent a letter to A. Barry Rand, CEO of AARP challenging him or his representative to a public Debate on the issue of Health Care Reform.

Weber said “The AARP has publicly endorsed several versions of Health Care legislation that will cause financial harm to members of AARP. I am calling on AARP to defend their actions or repudiate their support of efforts to reduce Medicare programs, specifically Medicare Advantage” .
