If you really want to stop this madness in Washinton, D.C. Remove all the Planks of the communist manifesto that have been enshrined into law. This means The department of agriculture, energy, education, food and drug administration, ATF, and several others would save hundred of BILLIONS OF $'s. Repeal the Federal Reserve Act. and bring these criminal banker's up on treason charges against the United States. Kick out The International Money Fund Banker's and if you can catch there banker's CEO Jail them and bring them up on war crimes against humanity, convict them and hang them.
I go along with most of what you say, but would add the 28th ammendment that has been going around and make it retroactive for the past 20 years with only a 1.5% COLA. Put all goverment retires under social security, make them buy there own health insurance. Make them just like the rest of us. Have them place 1/2 of all speeking fees while in office into the general fund.

I had a similar high school teacher (History and Geography) who told us to think independently. He talked about his views but did not attack disputers with epithets like I've heard with others. He was very liberal.

--The turning point for me is finding out how it has been the richest hustlers in capitalism (Rockefellers, George Soros) are the financiers of "socialism", a major fraud just like Marxism. Under both regimens workers and peasants not only lose respect for all their rights, but lose all hope for escape.

--That's why even the poorest Hondurans were among the ones who supported the ouster of golpista Communist dictator Zelaya in Honduras and supported the CONSTITUTIONAL interim government led by the constitutional successor Roberto Micheletti, who today is considered a national hero in Honduras, despite efforts to make Honduras swear allegiance to foreign masters again.

Support the free speech rights of Hondurans against whom the usurper federal imperial regime revoked visas. They did not want Americans to hear their side of the story.

Since the department of energy was founded for the specific purpose (at least originally) of freeing us from dependence on foreign oil I'd say they get an F- and maybe we should look at what benefits we have received from this department. If you want to be really radical you could say that since the states did not approve the formation of this department, then technically it's unconstitutional, but that might just be too radical.

I know the Dept. of Energy has about 18,000 employees. What are the job duties of some of these people? In an organization dealing with Wind and Gas,it would seem like a place to make some cuts
