News on the US southern border is not improving. As we experience a 20-year high in border crossings, Biden and Harris are oblivious – or worse. They have issued new rules reducing immigration law enforcement, arrests, detentions, deportations, “reorienting” ICE personnel, even banning the term “illegal alien.” They show an odd indifference. ICE is under intense fire; enforcement actions cut down as never before. Six consequences are predictable, as Biden abdicates US border protection. Americans should prepare for these events, and in some cases, maybe be swept into them.
First, more illegal aliens, or undocumented foreigners illegally crossing the border, will find their way to the interior. The Biden White House is privately pushing churches and other civic groups – often in hard-hitting letters – to accept them. Local officials are becoming anxious, in some places declaring a local state of emergency. The influx of non-legal, non-English speaking, non-assimilating foreigners will necessarily raise local costs – from social services and education to crime and public health – for an ever-widening number of communities affected.
Making this even worse, Biden-Harris has directed no arrest and deportation for most criminal aliens – unless charged with an aggravated felony, gang membership, or terrorism. The result has been the release and influx of criminal aliens, regularly given a pass. Second, since news travels fast – more foreigners from around the world will arrive at the border. Nothing suggests deterrence. Third, a major states’ rights versus federal rights battle loom. Adversely affected states – on the border and “dump zones” for human deposits – are headed for courts. Fourth, as numbers mount, illegal immigration will become an even bigger political issue – if that is possible – affecting 2022 US House, Senate, and local political races. Sixth, if the burden of mass illegal immigration continues to weigh on frontline states – overwhelming health, education, and safety resources – expect citizens to get active. If history is any guide, some will get political, and others think self-policing and vigilantism.
Bottom line: The net effect of Biden’s anti-law enforcement – and anti-border protection – policies is predictable, divisive, and troubling. With deterrence down, border states overwhelmed, unannounced illegals, global migration, states and cities frustrated, political races afoot, ICE – and law enforcement – morale low, and self-policing possible, this could be a long, hot summer. Call that consequences seven.
I am glad I’m 80 years old and probably will not live to see the outcome of this anti United States, Biden, Democrat activity. I cry for my children and future generations who know what being an American meant. God protect us, find a solution, I beg you.

Living in rural Southern Arizona we are familiar with lax border / immigration policies. There have been numerous, documented “incidents” in which the Mexican military has crossed into United States soil. In some cases they have taken American troops or Border Patrol hostage at gun point. Also reported are incidents of Mexican helicopters crossing the border and firing in at targets in sovereign US territory.
Personally I have gone out to my garage and been met with over 15 illegals in there. I have had groups of illegals knock on my door in the middle of the night.I even had two mules come to my door during the day and offer me $1,000.00 to drive them to Phoenix.
Now we are seeing things are going to get worse. Already home invasions are on the rise in rural areas in our area of Arizona. I would imagine we are not alone.
Having been born in 1944, I grew up in the post-war years when most people loved our country and showed their patriotism. We were not indoctrinated in school to make us hate America. We said the Pledge of Allegiance and raised the flag in front of our school every morning. Our country fought Communism in SE Asia to prevent its spread. The law enforcers actually enforced the law so our cities were safe. It makes me sick to my stomach that Beijing Biden and his DC Communist mob are trashing our Constitution and methodically turning our country into another Communist China. We sat back and let the government take over our schools, the media, large corporations and literally let them trash our freedoms. We Conservatives should have seen this coming and we did nothing to stop them. Now they are in total control and if we do not get to have free and fair elections in 2022, we are lost forever. Border states with some gumptshun, need to activate their own National Guard/Militias to augment the ICE personnel, set in motion river boat patrols, and foot patrols to control and stop the flow…..while I know not every border state has the kahonas to do this, the ones that do can make an impact. Local residents who live on these borders are already under “attack” and will be victims of the likes of the drug traffic and human traffic operators. They need protection, and our ICE people need real help, not the lip service of the present federal administration. I can see citizens banding together in these border areas as vigilanties, which would not be the best outcome for anyone……official militias, guards and deputized law enforcement people (trained) could do a lot to curb the flow, cut down on the threat to citizens, and push the people crossing the border back.
