All of these points are equally important. I want a president that upholds the law and what our FOUNDING fathers produced in the constitution and the bill of rights. I want a president that defends our flag, our liberty, and our safety from terrorism and destruction both foreign and domestic. I want a president that is financially responsible and works hard to return jobs to this country and lift up the low and middle class to an excellent quality of life yet at the same time protect our environment and natural spaces and species.

Growing up in a Democrat Hispanic family, I was the first person to register Republican at age 18 and voted for Reagan. Since then the majority of my family has seen what has become of their Democrat party and have also left. I’m no longer a registered Republican because the entirety of our political system has become so corrupt. That is why President Trump is such a breath of fresh air. Thank you Mr. President. TRUMP 2020!

I feel that a President who always puts America first will always be a pro-public safety, pro-freedom of religion President who protects American rights, including property rights as well as the 1st and 2nd Amendments, s/he will be a President who will lower the cost of healthcare and prescription drugs, replaces ObamaCare, A President who always puts America first will be a pro-equal rights President, and one focused on job creation, improving and stabilizing the economy, deregulation and American sovereignty and independence and defend the Constitution from all enemies both foreign and domestic. A President who puts America first must always have the courage to fight false media narratives and attacks from the opposition.

I believe there should be more choices. We need someone who will do all of those things, including to remove the swamp dwellers. Like the Mayors, and Governors who are keeping their Cities, and States closed for so long.

To be Our President, that person would have to be able to check all of the boxes. But there needs to be a few added. The big box that needs to be added; Uphold the letter of the Constitution. No twisting and double talk like what is the meaning of the word ‘Is’. All in government must be held accountable as a citizen is. Currently is does not happen. There are a lot of elected and former elected walking around that should be in jail, and would be if they were an ordinary citizen. Second that needs to be added is ; Root out criminal element entrenched in the our government and hold all found accountable no matter what office they hold or held in the past. Another box to add; Move to make changes to eliminate the ‘Self Enrichment for ones self, family and friends as currently takes place. Our ancestors ran away from that evil to form this country. And here we are again. Another that needs to be added; Seal our borders and put a firm and permanent level of fully vetted individuals wishing to immigrate and assimilate into and embrace the American culture and not change our country into something they were running from.

I’ll stop. But all the boxes need to be checked to lead this country.

OUR FOUNDING FATHERS HAVING STRUGGLED AND FOUGHT THROUGH WAR, LOSS OF THEIR FAMILIES, LOSS OF THEIR PROPERTY, AND SOME -THE LOSS OF THEIR LIVES, GAVE TO US AN AMAZING SET OF DOCUMENTS CALLED: The Constitution with the first 10 amendments called the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence, which are the laws of the land we call America.
These are documents that protect the citizenry of the United States from the ravages of a run amuck group of people called The Government.
It is the responsibility of those we allow into governmental positions to represent the people who allowed them the privilege to do public service in the State and Federal governments while being bound by these documents that tell the Federal and State governments what they can and can not do. Their jobs are to are to protect and serve so it is possible for the citizenry to create, build, opportunities for themselves and the nation.
The President’s job is as commander and chief of the armed forces, ‘he’ is responsible for implementing and enforcing the laws written by Congress and to that end, appoints the heads of the federal agencies, including the Cabinet”  He must know and protect the laws of the land for the sake of America not to make the citizenry happy or to care for their every need, that is the job of the citizen’s, but to protect the ability of the citizen’s to care for themselves. In a free country, it is the job of the citizen’s to prepare themselves for life and to be prepared to find opportunities, or to create opportunities, and to be independent productive individuals and not dependent on others for their support which enslaves them.

Above all I value an America First President that sees the Constitution as a sacred document. 1st and 2nd Amendments are .not negotiable. The Democrats are cruising for an armed revolution with their CLEARLY Socialist policies.

First and foremost, the President of the United States should Uphold and support the Constitution of the United States and enforce the laws of the land and he/she should make sure that laws are enforced throughout the Nation. He should see that those who destroy, vandalize, and cause bodily harm in the name of peaceful protest are prosecuted and inprisoned. Those who financially support illigal activity should be prosecuted as active participants in criminal activity. There must be accountability for those who work within and outside of government rolls.

I will support any political candidate who fully supports CONGRESSIONAL TERM LIMITS!!!! We, the people, put term limits on the position of President, each Congressman and Senator must have term limits also or we, the people, end up with professional politicians who promote only themselves and pad only their pockets. With a salary of basically $174,000 today, look at all the millionaires in Congress! At the end of a predetermined term, each should go back home and go to work without the Congressional benefits for LIFE!!! Pass CONGRESSIONAL TERM LIMITS NOW!!!!

For 8 years I had to put up with a guy I would never vote for who had a career politician for a running mate. Now we have a President who loves America, is not a career politician, knows more about business than Obama could ever hope to and refuses to throw money at a problem without solving it. And his reward is (1) to get IMPEACHED by an extremely biased House, (2) be hounded by the FAKE media since before the election and (3) be accused of lagging behind a do-nothing Biden by FOX. I commend President Trump for continuing to work for America in spite of all this CRAP!!

Results! Not promises. There is not one person, at this time in history, who could out produce the results of the current president. Considering all the illegal tries at overturning the results of a duly elected President.

R = Results

D = Discrimination, Distrust, Defrauding, Desperate and many more!

People may not like the way he talks, but personally he cares more about the legal residents of the U.S. than himself.

If that list was used as a checklist for help in deciding who to vote for, then the candidates would stack up this way:

  • Trump/Pence – every box checked
  • Biden/Harris – not even one box checked

The solution is simple. No matter which of the items on that list you thought were most important, Trump/Pence have been accomplishing each one of them to some degree. Biden/Harris have (as legislators) acted against many of those list items while their campaign promises are almost exactly the OPPOSITE of that list of important tasks/roles for a President.

One important quality of a President or Presidential candidate—a President who obviously LOVES America and her citizens and puts America and her sovereignty and citizens FIRST! Trump is the only president in my lifetime who has clearly done that in spite of all the opposition against him.

Also, with regard to healthcare and drug prices…we need to ensure that FOOD COSTS are made affordable for ALL. Food is medicine, and if people can eat properly they will not require drugs (poison!) that often causes more problems than it solves.

I think the best attribute of a President is a solid business background. There are many reasons for this. Here are the top 2. 1). Proven ability to bargain with suppliers/competitors, employees which correlates to trade deals with other countries (Art of the Deal). Not to be taken as support for Trump perse as I think he is a bit crass but it works. 2). Ability to set and follow budgets. Something sorely lacking in most of Washington today. Congress says they are reducing spending if the cut the amount of growth in spending in coming years. I they anticipate a 5% rise in spending and they only raise spending 4% they cut spending. Not true they cut the rate of growth. Now if they spend 2% less then last year that is a spending cut

I’ve decided we will always need a Non-Career Politician in the White House in this day and age. I just don’t believe the voters in this country investigate our candidates for all positions enough before voting on them. At the top positions in our National Government we must stop all the corruption and get honest folks who vote the will of their constituents–and not be corrupted by Party RINO’s & DINO’s… In my opinion a thorough Cleaning out of ALL our Washington elected officials would be better than what we have now!

Melanie Wilkinson

My husband and I would want all of these items on the list from our president, and so, it was very difficult to choose only 3 items. We want a strong president, who will work to do the right thing and what is best for the American people. I believe that most people want to live their lives without excessive government interference; to make a living for their family; to have a good education for their children; to live in peace and feel safe from domestic and foreign threats; to be able to worship as they see fit; to be able to expect those who live in America to abide by its laws and to have justice that is administered equally under the law; to have the freedom of speech; and to be fairly represented by the people we elect to office. When I was younger, I knew that I would never have an abortion because of my beliefs, so I did not really give abortion much thought; however, to see how abortion has evolved into condoned murder even after a baby is born is wrong. Everyone talks about protecting a woman’s rights, but how about the baby’s rights? I want a president who will stand up for those with no voice.

This election determines the very existence of the United states as we’ve known it, and as our founders envisioned it.
Never before in our nation’s history has there been such a clear difference between good and evil.
The Democrat platform has become a refuge for all the lunatic fringe elements of society… radicals, anarchists, homosexuals, anti-God, anti-Constitution, etc. Against everything this nation has stood for.
It is no longer time to “vote like you’ve always voted”… or ‘vote for them because they’re my race’!
It’s time to really look at what they stand for, and against, even if you’ve always voted democrat.
God help us; if He doesn’t, there won’t be a United States of America. There will be civil war; and if that happens, the United Nations will send ‘Peace Keepers’, and they will void or Constitution and Bill of Rights!
Wake UP!

Personally, I was disappointed with the choices in this poll. They were all too one issue related and did not get to the heart of what we need in a president. I want a president who puts the general welfare of the people first and does this by knowing and following the law of the land, i.e. the U. S. Constitution. Sadly, that document has been trampled under the feet of politicians until it is barely holding up. I want a president who will not be corrupted for personal gain. Yes, POTUS needs to be decisive, but he(she) also needs to know how the world works, how economies work and be prepared to lead the USA to a better life for all. 99% of politicians are totally unfit for office. No one needs a law degree to run for office. What they need is some common sense and a sense of dedication to the welfare of all;not just himself and immediate family. We need statesmen, not professional politicians.
