Back in the early 1960’s I was a child and on vacation at the Jersey shore with my mother and two brothers. Back then every night the town would play the National Anthem and everyone was expected to stand. Well there were 2 foreign couples who didn’t stand, my mother demanded that they stand and told them “My husband fought in WWII for your freedom, stand up”. Guess what??? They quickly stood up. I’m proud to be an American and come from a Military family!

If Cori Bush doesn’t feel like she has any freedom in the USA then she should exit this great nation and go somewhere else to be free. While she’s at it she should round up a lot of her type and take them with her. Search for your kind of freedom somewhere else. We don’t need it here

Why is the NEA doing this? It is simple, the teachers no longer want to teach children in the classroom. If they are forced to return to the classroom, they are going to force parents to pull their children out of school with these idiotic theories and they will once again be able to sit at home and still get paid. It is childish, ridiculous and dangerous.

As distasteful as it may be, I’m afraid that our opponents have the same rights to their opinions, and to express them publicly, as we do.
If we’re to “rid” America of them, it has to be in the marketplace of ideas. Our ideas must be truthful, and preferable, and more appealing to more people than theirs. You can’t just make ideas and/or speech we disagree with a crime, or kick the speakers out of the country, or otherwise shut them up by force. If you do, you betray the very foundation of American principles. Free Speech has to be for everyone. But you can counter bad ideas with good ones.
And we can’t promote or spread good ideas and American principles by simply gathering and speaking with, and to, people of like minds. We have to “get out in the trenches”. That means spending our own money, time, and effort to elect people with principles and ideas we want to see grow across society. It means BECOMING those kinds of candidates. It means letters to the editor, organizing neighbors and neighborhood groups to do the same; it means encouraging employers to sponsor civic groups, and to provide OJT and opportunity for new and existing employees. It means contact with people and groups and audiences who DON’T agree with us, and changing minds to better ways of thinking.
And you can’t change people’s minds with a big stick; you have to CONVINCE them by offering better ways.
You may not like the schoolyard bully, but if he beats you up for it, it doesn’t change your MIND about him, it just reinforces your opinion, and you’re against him more than ever. He’s simply illustrated your point for you, and you’ll look for another way to engineer his downfall. HE’S given you the argument to use against him, so you go out and gather other kids, teachers, the principal, to your side of things; whatever it takes to shut him down, take his audience and power away from him. When his way no longer works, he’ll HAVE to look at his own attitudes and ways of doing business.

Bush, Waters, et al, Ben calls them “anti-American activists.” Of course, he’s correct. But, if you stop calling them Democrats and start calling them by what they are –Progressive-Socialists– no further modifiers would be necessary.

From what I recall, historically; when unions first started pushing their way into the workforce, they were identified with being communist in their ideology. After seeing, hearing, watching, etc, what they do and how they act…I can’t really disagree. Especially now with their support of the leftist agenda.

l’d pull my kid out of school immediately. l’m so glad my kids are pass school age and none of this bs was around then. Maybe it was but not out in the open like men in girls sports and locker rooms bathrooms, calling our flag hatred changing woman to she or her the ridiculous list goes on. They did get away with taking religion out no more Christmas but winter celebration. No one alive today was a slave back in the day and the Dems are ruining this country unless we fight back.
