Senators Cruz and Braun Introduce Legislation to Ban Federal Vaccine Passports

vaccine passports

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Mike Braun (R-Ind.), and Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.) today introduced legislation to stop the federal government from establishing COVID-19 passports or working with third parties to establish their own vaccine passports, such as airlines or other global entities. This bill imposes a five-year prohibition on any government vaccine mandate for vaccines first authorized by the FDA through an Emergency Use Authorization. As millions of Americans receive the COVID-19 vaccine, Texas and 11 other states have already passed legislation preventing statewide vaccine passport mandates.

Upon introducing this bill, Sen. Cruz said:

“Americans shouldn’t be discriminated against because of COVID-19 vaccine status – whether that is at work or in everyday life. Americans have a well-established right to privacy that any mandated vaccine passport would destroy. A vaccine passport would be discriminatory against people who, for whatever reason, do not get the COVID-19 vaccine. We should be encouraging individuals to receive the vaccine through increased patient protections, not mandating it.

“The truth is not everyone can receive the COVID-19 vaccine – for legitimate reasons. I got the vaccine because it was the right decision for me, but people should be free to make the decision that is right for them and consult with their doctor if they have concerns. Individuals who are unable to receive the vaccine should not be denied access to aspects of everyday life or the opportunity to participate in society. Mandating the vaccine or requiring all individuals to be fully vaccinated before returning to normal life could prevent America from fully reopening.”

Sen. Braun said:

“The COVID vaccines are a medical miracle and getting vaccinated is a personal decision some may choose not to make for a variety of reasons. I’m proud to stand with Senator Cruz against vaccine passports.”

Sen. Lummis said:

“The government should not be in the business of exposing Americans’ private health information. Our job should be to protect citizens’ privacy rights – that’s what the 4th Amendment of our Constitution is about. I’m proud to support Senator Cruz in this effort to protect people in Wyoming and across the country from federally issued vaccine passports and mandates.”

AMAC Action President Bob Carlstrom added:

“Senators Cruz’s ‘No Vaccine Passports Act’ legislation is needed to ensure protection of the health information of all Americans and we strongly support its enactment. Such information lies within the same class as other vaccination histories of individuals and is properly maintained in the course of confidential physician patient relationships. Certainly, in situations in which an employee has concerns concerning potential for workplace exposure, the bill addresses those questions in a fair and forthright manner by giving their resolution to the employer and employee.”

HIPPA Laws protect a patients medical informative and medical conditions that no one has the right to refuse service to a person any service because they are not jabbed or can’t wear a mask No one has the right to ask a person why they can’t wear a mask due to health exception for medical reason the hippa law protects that individual rights

Agree 100%! Unfortunately this should be a non-issue, but like everything else, the Biden administration makes everything a controversial issue due to their insistence on violating our right to privacy, human rights of American citizens. and violating our constitution!

It’s simple. Everyone is responsible for their own health, not government. People that are vaccinated will not get COVID from those not vaccinated. IF those not vaccinate get COVID it will be from someone who also chose not vaccinate.

If you vaccinate and have problem it’s on you.
If you don’t vaccinate and get sick it’s on you. If you can’t vaccinate take precautions until you don’t need to.

The vaccine is a blessing, just not for everyone. Forced compliance is what WW2 was all about and nibbles away at the Constitution and our freedoms. Don’t make fear-based decisions. Make YOUR OWN decisions and live with the consequences.

First not everyone got covid or took the jab so that is not true that someone got covid from another person who chose not to take a bioweapon jab that has been killing people ,giving blood clots ,heart issues . There has been many reports that some people who took a jab got covid which is the flu and most people recovered there have been uptake of people being hospitalized after take the jab, I know people could not stand or walk those jabs are causing neurological conditions yes its true its a your body body your choice Its my body and my choice not to be jabbed and have a spike protein cause my autoimmune continues to relapse no thanks its hard enough to get through each day .I know I am protected I get blood plasma every month and take homeopathic supplements so I am not worried about the virus according to the CDC People with underlying conditions should be dead I haven’t been sick and I don’t take the flu jab either .Don’t trust big pharma I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2019 from a big pharma drug big pharma bad

Every visit to the doctor or lab, I get a new copy of the HIPPA form and must sign a paper acknowledging that I have been informed of my rights to patient privacy. No one in authority (except Republicans) seems to be aware of how such passport documentation violates this legal protection of our private health choices. Another example of how inmates are running the D.C. and progressive states’ asylums these days.

I thought the democrats enacted HIPPA laws so the privacy people’s medical information could be protected. Is this null and void when they determine that they need to know?

Hope this passes. It’s desperately needed for people living in Democrat controlled states.
